Sky in July

July 2026 is all about lazing around in the starry sky : ) The International Space Station (ISS) will fly overhead with white nights, the Noctilucent Clouds (NLC) will occasionally glow, and of course, the Moon will shine. On the morning of July 11th, the Pleiades will peek out from behind its dark edge—you can't miss it! And on the evening of the 17th, let's look for the lunar crescent moon in conjunction with Venus. From our perspective, these phenomena will unfold low above the horizon, but anyone spending their vacation in southern Europe will see it better and much more!
